Whether it’s the elation of a new idea or the pursuit of what you believe is your calling, sometimes you just don’t get to think things through when starting something new. The excitement and anticipation compel you to start (and those feelings usually won’t go away until you do). But don’t worry, the process will give you time to think. And if you give up along the way, you’ll either reprimand yourself for giving up, reprimand yourself for not thinking things through in the beginning or, not reprimand yourself at all. But then again, you would have reprimanded yourself for not trying – constantly torturing yourself with the what ifs.
The absence of sadness and anger are byproducts of forgiveness but the mere absence of those two emotions does not mean you forgave. Don’t confuse the absence of your anger and sadness for forgiveness.
Popular. Great. With Authority. Powerful. Skilled. Talented. Beautiful.
And so on:
The very person we look up to has characteristics we deeply admire but, it’s those same characteristics that can blind us to their wrongdoings.
You’re not even sure why you don’t like the person (or thing) because, you only disliked them because everyone else did. You didn’t formulate your own opinion through your own experience – you listened to and accepted what everyone else was saying.
Everyone’s journey to success is different. You can take the same steps they took and do the same things that they did and not prevail like they did. A journey cannot always be replicated for their favor and blessings (from God) and their destiny and purpose (given by God) are different to yours.
It would be nice to think that you can be content and still want more for yourself but, the moment that you start wanting more, causes the absence of contentment. The want for growth and the want to have more would have to precede contentment or, you would have to learn to be content regardless of where you are and what you have.
If you don’t feel like doing something, you can force yourself to do it because it’s more often than not (among other things): a matter of laziness, mere disinterest or case of low willpower. But, if you’re not mentally ready to do something, don’t do it.
You may be late to the scene but, if there’s an opportunity to start, it’s not too late. It may be harder and more competitive because of your timing but, it’s not too late to start unless it’s actually over.
