There are people who have dreams that are so grandiose that some fail to understand them. And because of this lack of understanding, they label their plans as crazy, their expressions as incoherent, their confidence as arrogance and their enthusiasm as naive optimism. We are so used to having a hard lifestyle that when something does go good – when the pathway is finally smooth – we can’t enjoy it because we fear it’s too good to be true and that something bad is bound to happen. Will we ever allow ourselves to be happy, despite what we are used to?
Realize when your independence isn’t working for you – the times when you need to just swallow your pride and ask for and accept help. When you’re capable of being independent, be independent but when you need help, swallow your pride and ask for it. Don’t let the idea of being independent stop you from getting help when you need it.
